The brows frame the face and highlight the eyes.
Brow Lamination is a relatively new service in New Zealand. It was developed in Russia and is slowly spreading through the world.
Brows hairs are manipulated and treated with a series of chemicals which alter the angle the brow hairs sit similar to how lashes are manipulated in a lash lift. The result is fuller looking brows that can be groomed or left fluffy. Brows are tidied and tinted as part of the process.
Brow Lamination is fabulous for those with thin brows as the new upward position of the hairs creates the illusion of a wider brow. Also great for taming wiry brow hairs.
Brow Lamination lasts approximately 5 weeks as brow hairs fall out daily and are replaced with new hairs. It is vitally important to keep the brows dry for 48 hours to allow the new bonds within the hairs to set so as to maintain their new position.
Brow lamination is not suitable for those suffering from a skin condition in the brow area, those allergic to Sulphur or adhesives and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Patch testing can be done and is recommended for those with sensitive skin.
